41 RS Aeros enjoyed a sunny early summer’s day on the western Solent at Lymington. 25 visitors joined 16 local competitors and more new RS Aero 6s took to the water

38 Entries now, over the four RS Aero fleets!
ONLINE ENTRY
is extended to midnight tonight (Thurs) and entries will be accepted on the day with the late fee.
CATERING & SOCIAL
- Breakfast served from 9am
- A sociable after sailing BBQ with 3 choices of burger, veg trimmings and a house pint (or choice) for £12.50. Normal kitchen menu avialable also until 6pm.
- SailGP races live on the Lower Bar big screen from 6pm.
FORECAST
Many a good day's racing is lost due to a forecast and I remain optimistic for a cracking day to remember. Warm temps will provide thermal enhancement to the soft SW-ly, together with western Solent funnelling and against an ebb tide. The mix will likely provide as much fun as is ever possible on a day forecasted light!
TROLLEY STICKERS
Buy from me for £5 if you don't have one. Worth their weight in gold and the envy of every cold footed sailor waiting a long time for their trolley.

The Club is all set to welcome the RS Aero Class and organise some excellent racing again.

A sociable BBQ on the lawn will follow racing. £12.50 for a choice of chicken, beef or mushroom burger with veg trimmings and includes a pint (or choice) from the bar to conclude an excellent day out!

Just two weeks to go, get your entries in!
The Lymington RS Aero Open was a huge success last year with 65 entries. The Club are all set with our volunteer army and have Rob Martin and his team set to set excellent racing again.
A sociable BBQ on the lawn will follow racing to conclude an excellent day on the western Solent and at the Club!

Lymington is well known to the RS Aero fleet and with a large home fleet we can expect a good turnout to enjoy the western Solent in May for a 1 day open. A great warm up for the busy season ahead!
