Selden SailJuice Winter Series - Top Lady!
Congratulations to Ellie Craig in her RS Aero 7 heading the Top Lady leaderboard in the series after the first event at Draycote with an 11th overall in the 87 boat fleet. Next event is the Datchet Flyer on 11/12th Dec, come and join the growing fleet of RS Aeros there!

Delighted to be equal 1st on 'PY Adjusted' top speed on the windy Day 2 at the Draycote Dash, with Selden SailJuice Winter Series sponsor Steve Norbury right behind in his RS Aero 7 in 3rd. Usual speedy suspects of Challengers, RS Aeros and Contenders at the top of the adjusted list. Those Challenger tri-s took some catching in Sunday's windy pursuit race!

Draycote Dash (SailJuice) - Draycote WSC, Midlands, UK, 20/21st Nov
87 mixed class boats enjoyed a busy weekend of racing at Draycote to start the Selden SailJuice Winter Series. 8 RS Aeros had entered with 5 RS Aero 7s being one of the larger Class fleets.
A benefit of the two day mixed class handicap events is that a change in windstrength overnight can be a good equaliser of any bias between the light and strong wind performers....
REPORT, RESULTS & PHOTOS
Next Up in the SailJuice Series is Datchet on 11/12th Dec followed by split venues at both Burghfield and Yorkshire Dales on Monday 27th Dec. Our last RS Aero open of the season is this Saturday 27th at Bowmoor and for those in the sunny southwest it is the Paignton Christmas Cracker on Sunday 5th Dec. Lots of Class coaching going on with fixtures at Eastbourne, Draycote and Bowmoor before the end of the year. There is no excuse to slow up - especially with the Class Member's 20% discount at Rooster so you can stay warm, smart and comfortable!

Who is joining me for some of these events? Just two weeks to go to the first event and I am feeling a little lonely on the Entry List !
In recent years the RS Aeros have lead the way in both numbers and results with the large mixed class events providing fantastic experience and the opportunity for a good Class race within the larger mixed fleet challenge. For keen racers, aspiring young sailors and those who like to catch up with old friends in the off season the Selden SailJuice Winter Series is invaluable, providing a year round calendar with big fleet race experience at large sociable events. Enter now to stay in touch, in shape and have some bonus fun during the quiet season!
Good entry fee discounts are often available for club members of hosts clubs. So even if locals only want to compete on 1 day of a 2 day event (Draycote, Datchet & Rutland) it can still be good value.

For keen racers, aspiring young sailors and those who like to catch up with old friends in the off season the Selden SailJuice Winter Series is invaluable, providing a year round calendar with big fleet race experience at large sociable events.
