Thanks to TridentUK.com for their generous support of the Selden SailJuice Winter Series 'Top Club' prize.
Lymington Town SC sailors which consisted of 8 boats; 6 RS Aeros, a RS200 and a 420 were delighted winners last winter. All the Club's sailors who took part in the series will receive a share in the Trident prize kit. This will help prepare and encourage participation, especially in our younger sailors, this winter.

Pre-entry open for Selden SailJuice Winter Series
Making the Selden SailJuice Winter Series work in such unpredictable times means there is a new pre-entry process in place.
Therefore to allow for the fairest allocation of entry places SailJuice will be operating a pre-registration phase to allow sailors to show their commitment against individual events. For the pre-registration phase sailors will select the events they intend to compete in and pay a £5 advance for each event. If event cancelled or entry not allocated then advance is refunded 100%.

Do pop your entries in promptly to ensure your space, especially for those events coming up before New Year. The RS Aeros often have the largest Class turnouts, giving us excellent Class racing within the larger mixed Class PY event and it would be great to enjoy that again this winter - and let's see if we can finally win Top Class!

Seldon SailJuice Winter Series 2020/21, UK For keen racers and aspiring young sailors the SailJuice Series is invaluable, providing focus with a year round calendar with big fleet race experience.
Commit £5 now per event to reserve your 'Pre-Registration' place, they do get booked up and especially this year with limited spaces. If you don't get in or the event is cancelled you will be refunded.
SailJuice; 'Here you can indicate which events you are intending to compete in ahead of full entry opening, which will be much later than usual to allow host clubs to finalise any restrictions in light of the latest C19 guidelines at the time. With more events selling out in recent years and a growing appetite for competitive racing, we anticipate a busy winter.'

Selden SailJuice Winter Series 2020/21
The 12th edition of the Selden SailJuice Winter Series kicks off in a couple of months’ time, starting with the Fernhurst Books Draycote Dash on 21-22 November 2020.
The intention is for the circuit to stay as similar as possible to previous years and a commitment to have some activity on each of the scheduled dates, although uncertainties created by Covid 19 mean there are likely to be changes along the way.
In light of uncertainties and likely restrictions for individual events, the entry process will be different this Winter with a pre-registration phase opening on 1st October to allow sailors to indicate their commitment to which events they wish to compete in.

- RS Aero Class summary from 16:00 - Eastbourne Nationals, SailJuice winter racing & lockdown activity
- Will the RS Aeros have the largest SailJuice entries again (from 29:35 )? Online Pre-Registration opens on 1st Oct. ''Anyone sitting on the fence waiting for a nice forecast is likely to miss out and many a great day's sailing is lost due to a bad forecast anyway''. Fortunately RS Aeros are fairly robust performers across the wind range in mixed fleet events, including the extremities.
