UK RS AERO TRANSPORT Lago Maggiore International RS Aero Regatta,
Italy, 15-17th June
Last Call for the final 2-3 RS Aero transport spaces available for UK owners boats.
I expect the price to be the same as last year's Italian trip at about just £260 for return boat transport.
There is also space to travel in the vehicle or you can fly into Milan Malpensa nearby .
I will leave early Wednesday and aim to have the boats ready to sail on
Lago Maggiore on Thursday 14th, giving 4 days in total for those who want the extra day.
Event Page
22 entries from 8 countries now will give the Maggiore event a nice international flavour.
We can expect a relaxed atmosphere but with good racing and training.

21 entries from 8 countries are now entered for the Lake Maggiore International RS Aero Regatta at Maccagno. There is nice home nation representation from both Italy and Switzerland for this joint venture Italian/Swiss event.

Lake Maggiore is the most westerly of the three large pre-alpine lakes of Italy. Whilst most of the Lake's length is in Italy its alpine northern tip rests in Switzerland. Beautiful mountains, fair breezes and a wonderful culture make this new addition to the international calendar, coordinated by the local RS Aero sailors, an event not to be missed!
June/July sees the best wind and weather at Lake Maggiore. Maccagno hold their racing just to the north in the so called ”Canalone” - the area where the lake becomes slightly narrower, opposite Canobbio, and therefore the wind is always stronger. In the morning the 'Tramontana' wind descends from the north till 10-11.00 and then in the afternoon the 'Inverna' blows from the south.

Bei uns ist der Sommer ausgebrochen und eine grosse Tube Sonnencreme ist wichtig für alle die, die bei diesem herrlichen Wetter segeln gehen.
Noch habt Ihr 1 Woche Zeit den Discount für die Regata zu bekommen und für Übernachtungen ist es einfacher, früh zu bestellen.
Auch Charterboote sind noch da, sodass Freunde, die kein Boot haben, mitkommen können.
Schon haben sich Segler aus 8 verschiedenen Nationen eingeschrieben!

ici c’est l’été et un gros tube de crème solaire est nécessaire pour tous ceux qui font la voile par si beau temps.
Il vous reste encore 1 semaine pour profiter de la remise sur l’inscription à la régate et je vous conseille aussi de réserver à temp votre hébergement.

PAYMENT OPTIONS Good news for International travellers!
Italians can pay the host club UVM.
Swiss can pay the partnering Swiss club, YC Ascona, avoiding international transfer fees.
British can pay the RS Aero UK Class Association, saving any international transfer fees.
Other Nations can chose the cheapest of the options or pay the higher rate at the event.
