Round 3 of the RS Aero UK Winter Series
Twelve intrepid RS Aeros braved a chilly but rewarding day out to help make up the 35 entries to this year's Slipper Shiver, Emsworth Slipper SC's annual mixed class open Pursuit Race.
Steve Cockerill pulled ahead to take a comfortable win in his RS Aero 7 and six RS Aeros packed out the top 10. Great to see two RS Aero 5s near the front of a pursuit race in a medium breeze!

Following the cancellation of the Bloody Mary on the same date Emsworth's Slipper Shiver is on the RS Aero UK Winter Series as Round 3.
There are now some 20 RS Aeros at the three Emsworth clubs combined and they all come together in the winter for some great racing. The Slipper Shiver is their special one off festive race with an open invite.
First start: 13.30 on the top of the tide
For those looking to rack up results in the SailJuice Series, since announcing Emsworth after the cancellation of the Bloody Mary a replacement SailJuice event has been organised at King George SC, North London, on the same date so there is an alternative available.
