RS Aero UK End of Seasons Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire
Saturday 11th November Many thanks to Lee-on-Solent SC and all their wonderful volunteers who stepped in at very short notice to host our RS Aero UK End of Seasons, joining their new fleet of 13 local RS Aeros! The initial event had to be moved from Queen Mary due to low water there.
A splendid turnout of 35 RS Aeros enjoyed great racing with a full variety of conditions during the day.
RS Sailing provided three charter RS Aeros that were sold out quickly to local sailors.

*Entries Limited to 40 RS Aeros*
Great to see entries up to 30 already for the Lee on Solent End of Seasons, after only launching this event one week ago! To be sure of being adequately resourced the club have a hard entry limit of 40. If you are thinking of coming get your entry in now to avoid disappointment!
The Club have graciously cancelled their club racing to accommodate us, so lets get near 40 in appreciation!
Venue
Lee on Solent SC have two clubhouses! The main building to the west on the promenade is currently closed for refurbishment.
Their 'Signal Station' clubhouse, next to their dinghy park on the sea front, has been extended to have all necessary facilities and enjoys a fantastic view over the Solent.

Parking
Please use the Elmore Car Park 75m east of the Lee-on-Solent SC Signal Station clubhouse. Wheel you Aeros and trailers along the level path to the club and trailers can be accommodated at the top of the slipway or dinghy park.

There will be 20 minutes coaching on shore from 10am (pre-briefing) to help pass on lessons already learnt in the class over the past 3 years.

The 9th and final round of the 2017 RS Aero UK Southern Circuit.
This is a one day replacement 'End of Seasons' event at Lee on Solent SC, in the eastern Solent, for the previously scheduled Queen Mary event which had to be rearranged due to continued low water levels at QMSC.
Many thanks to Lee on Solent SC who have stepped up and generously offered to run our event at short notice. and thanks to local RS Aero sailor Fernando Gamboa's wonderful enthusiasm in jumping at this opportunity to host the visiting fleet. The local RS Aero fleet at LOSSC has expanded rapidly to 13 RS Aeros this year with quite a few more nearby.

The Awards for the Magic Marine RS Aero 2017 UK Southern Circuit will also be made at the Lee on Solent 'End of Seasons' prize giving.
Please register in advance but pay on the day. This will;
- Help the club organise resourcing safety cover and catering.
- Save you completing a form and the club having to input all the entry data on the day, leaving more time for coffee and Aero-chat!
