Well done to Matt and Cameron for taking 1st and 2nd in their Aeros...
Matt Thursfield reports;
Thirty Chelmarsh SC dinghies including a few local boats made their annual early summer trip to Dovey. Six RS Aeros, all 7 rigs, battled against the lasers, merlins, solos and GP14s on a mass start yardstick racing in perfect conditions of F3-4 from the west.
Great close racing saw Matt Thursfield just pipping Cameron Smith across the line in each of the first four races, Matt's upwind speed just about compensating for Cameron's offwind ability. Pete Townend, Mark Tissiman, Steve Woodhouse and local Aero, Josh Cooper, brought home the other Aeros behind Richard Coates in his Laser.
