RS Aero Sustainability Challenge
Burghfield SC, 1st April
A fantastic day's racing at Bughfield SC for the inaugural Sustainability Challenge Trophies.
Thank you to The Green Blue for inviting the RS Aero UK Class to embark on the project to improve our Class' sustainability and for providing these three awesome trophies. Kate Fortnam of The Green Blue presented the trophies and gave a short talk on many simple measures we can all easily action to help minimise our impact on the environment.

Richard Watsham captures the action in his Report perfectly, with results and a interesting video that Ian Bullock our race officer has made available of his view of each of the five 27 boat starts.

Hope it all goes well tomorrow. Sadly I'm on Grandparent duty so can't sail. (and I thought the days of babysitting finished when the kids grew up... it starts again!)

Burghfield M4 Diversion
Please note for anyone travelling from the West down the M4 for this weekend's BURGHFIELD open. Due to bridge repairs the M4 will be closed between junctions 12 and 13. There is a diversion in place from 9pm on Friday night (31st March) through to 6am Monday 3rd April.

South coast traffic would do well to go M3 and then A33 from Basingstoke.

You may need to allow a little extra travelling time in the morning!
