13 RS Aeros join an entry of 120 mixed class boats to race in the single handers fleet at this popular winter event in aid of Asthma UK. Francesco Savelli is even flying in form Italy’s Adriatic coast to check out what the British obsession with winter sailing is all about!

It may be the depths of the northern winter but this weekend sees over fifty RS Aeros out having fun at 5 worldwide locations on the calendar, plus lots more local club sailing too!
North American Midwinters, West Palm Beach, Florida, USA, 27-29th
23 Pre entries from across North America, plus Karl representing RS Aero TeamGBR. One day’s coaching with Marc Jacobi followed by two days’ racing in Florida’s wonderful climate.
The following weekend is the Florida State Champs up the coast at Jenson Beach with 13 more entries so far.
14 trainees have so far signed up for the 3rd of this winters monthly training weekends. This time in the Eastern area with 3 times UK Laser Radial Champion Hannah Snellgrove and Paul Robson coaching.

On the south east corner of Port Philip Bay, Australia it is all go at Geeling this week. The Aussie Aeros join the fun in the mixed dinghy class on Thursday and Friday.
The Seattle Aeros join with the Lasers of the USA’s Pacific North West to dust any snow off for their monthly ‘Frostbite’.
