At the recent RS Classes End of Seasons Pursuit Race Sportography.tv were on hand making a movie of the epic outing with the aid of their eye in the sky.
30kn gusts and freezing temperatures pushed the fleet to the limit with the RS Aeros holding there own where the spinnaker classes struggled to hoist their kites on the reaches. Chris Larr led the race to near the end to take 3rd. In total six RS Aero 7s finished in the top ten and Peter Craggs' finish won him the RS Aero 7 UK Southern Circuit - no mean feat with only 68 finishers from the 113 entries!

TEAM GBR VOLVO SAILORS to support the RS END OF SEASONS
Courtesy of VOLVO we will be joined this weekend by Team Volvo sailors John Pink and Niki Birrell at Rutland Sailing Club.

Team GBR Volvo 49er sailor John Pink will join us on the water on Saturday and then run a tips and Q&A session before Saturday's dinner. Make sure you get some key questions ready - this is a special opportunity to tap the expertise of one of the world's most talented sailors.

Double Paralympic medallist Niki Birrell will then join us on Sunday and present the prizes at the prize giving - and he will be bringing his two medals for us all to have a look!

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS are posted on the Documents page, link below.
As the format is a little different I suggest you have a read before Saturday morning so as to not interfere with your Bacon and Banter.
It all looks great and a nice bit of variety to End the Season with. http://www.rsaerosailing.org/docs/836075812.pdf

FIVER Remember to get your entries in before Tuesday night to save a fiver and help the club plan. After that online entry closes and you can enter on the day.

EIGHTEEN! One week to go to the End of Seasons UK grande finale and entries are rolling in - keep them coming!

Team Burghfield are mobilised. A good fleet has been building at Island Barn (south west London) recently and we have a couple of travellers from there. Great to have a few home boats from our Rutland hosts.

Now the entry list has been thoroughly 'Willisized' too! Will Baby Bear re-find the form of his 6th place in the RS Aero 9 UK Champs? Will Mummy Bear's starting expertise shine through or will Daddy Bear show them all who is the boss on his first Aero adventure? Find out at Rutland!

Discounted online entry closes on Tuesday night, £5 more on the day.
Get your entries in here;

Here is a video showing off Rutland's size and pleasant surrounds by Martin from Nottingham when he visited and did a tour in the summer, thanks Martin (no AeroEndo's this time!);
