The Bauhaus Cup - Aachen, GERMANY, 1-2 Oct
marked the anniversary of the first German RS Aero regatta held here last year.
A busy schedule of twelve races were held over two days provided plenty of opportunity for all the sailors to share in some race glory and memorable moments.
Twelve sailors took part and with Marcus Walther out of action after the Italian RS Aerocup on Lake Garda, Thomas Beneker of Bremen was the new leader - winning 6 races! 2nd place was home boat Maarten Donders with Jorn Domres of YC Phoenixsee in 3rd.

RS Aero Bauhaus Cup
Who is going to Aachen, Germany, this weekend for the Bauhaus Cup?
Lots of RS Aeros are based near by and this nice event is very close to the RS Aeros in Belgium & Holland. Also less than 4 hours from Calais for any Brits who fancy popping over too!
Already 12 RS Aeros are registered and lots of new names are joining the German fleet.

Bauhaus-Cup am Blausteinsee
Eschweiler near Aachen 1-3 October 2016
In 2015 this was the first ever German RS Aero Regatta. The Bauhaus Cup is back on th calendar this year to build on last years event.
Aachen is a very central location, close to the Dutch and Belgium borders and only 3.5 hours from Calais. Having this event is fantastic to gather the RS Aeros in the region together before the end of the season
The RS Aeros will join with the O'pen BIC class and there will be separate starts.
