Just completed another Seattle Aero Demo Day. We had 10 people test the boat who had not tried an Aero before. The day was light was perfect: 4-10 kts, flat water and warm sunshine. The wind died for a little, but in the sunshine, no one seemed to mind.
We use a Rib to relay test sailors out to the test boats which are kept on the water. That way, we maximize on the water time and protect the boats from launch / landing incidents. Very cool, that nearly all the demo sailors were not existing Laser sailors. Looks like we'll get several new Aero owners from this group.
Next Demo Day will probably be next Spring. Until then, we'll be doing Frostbite sailing all winter ... can't wait. That is when the wind blows in Seattle.
