LYMINGTON ‘LIFT-OFF‘ DAY
Wednesday 25th March, 1pm
These have proven very successful nationally as fleets establish over the Winter, providing an RS Aero induction, coaching, racing and demo-ing. Now with 15 boats delivered, out of a current total of 24(!), Lymington are ready for their turn on Wednesday 25th.
Demo boats are available for anyone who would like to join and have a try-out, please let me know and I will make arrangements.
The Plan;
1pm - Meet with boats ready to go, but not changed. Briefing on LTSC lawn to discuss Aero specifics - technique, set up, controls.
2pm - Afloat for coached racing around a short course near the river mouth.
Capsize drill for those who fancy that.
4pm - Return, Debrief & Beer.
The aim is to provide a fun fleet get together and exchange tips and techniques with the new class in time for the new season. We will plan another 'Lift-Off 2' in due course for those who cant make the 25th or who have not received their new boats yet. This will will likely be before our Lymington open meeting on 13/14th June.
