Great news regarding Bowmoor this weekend!
LPB Aerial Imagery and SailRacer will be in attendance working on an exciting new quick-fire project to combine aerial video footage from an overhead drone with an overlay graphic from GPS tracking data to produce a demo reel of what can be created.
As a class we will have the benefit of some interesting overhead pictures in an online library next week plus the exciting final edit of the combined video/graphic footage.
RS will be supplying 'deck numbers' to easily identify the Aeros from above which will increase the interest in the images and footage.
Nearby RAF Brize Norton have agreed to the use of the drone over Bowmoor - granting us our Aerospace!

BOWMOOR WEATHER - Sunday 15th
The weather is currently looking great for Sunday; bright blue skies all day and ending the day with 12mph wind (gusting 15mph) and a balmy 9'C - hottest day of the year so far!

I have it confirmed that by special arrangement, for one day only, the Bowmoor Breakfast Bap, Bacon / Bacon & egg baps, will be served from 10am this Sunday. Now that is worth getting up early for!

Briefing; 10.45
First Start; 11.30
Entry fee; visitors £10.
Enter on the day - no advance entry
Format;
3 races. 1 discard (if 3).
1st start 11.30, then lunch. 2nd Start 1.30 and 3rd race back-to-back after the 2nd.
- The RS Aeros will have our own start outside of the Sunday club racing and will start first.

The events page says: Saturday 15 Feb when you click on the event.
15 Feb is a Sunday in my Calendar. Please clarify ASAP. This is under 2 weeks away and I don't know which day it means.

Hi Gareth,
I am on the case trying to sort full info out...
It should be a good one with 10 RS Aeros at Bowmoor (Avon are wintering there), plus a lot more nearby.

Anyone have timings for Bowmoor? Everything still says TDB - trying to work out how feasible it is for me to get there.
