Paul Robson, RS Aero sailor from ReadingSC, who has helped on all the previous weekends will be running the coaching.

Timings; Meet at 09:30 as usual. Ready for sails up but not changed.

Directions;
The postcode for the club is DE65 6EG
Please note; it is the first entrance to Foremark if you are approaching from the Repton /Milton direction and it is marked "Sailors and Fishermen Only" with a Burton Sailing Club sign on the bank.

From the Ticknall direction it is the second entrance. Please don't use the first as you cannot access the club and it will be difficult to turn round to come back out as there is a pay barrier.

I gather the loan boat places are all full at the moment. As people get their boats then loan boats will become free - will you let juniors know when and if a boat becomes free if they have not yet got their boat - Please

We are pleased to announce the formation of the ‘RS Aero5 National Squad’ in collaboration with the UK RS Tera Class. The RS Aero5 provides a fantastic development pathway for RS Tera sailors to progress to, with the Tera being the ‘4th dimension’ of the three RS Aero rigs!

The new squad will be coached by Peter Barton and will join the Tera class’ five winter National Squad training weekends at;

1/2 Nov 2014 - Queen Mary SC, London, TW15 1UA
6/7 Dec 2014 - Hayling Island SC, PO11 9SL
31Jan/1Feb 2015 - Oxford SC, Farmoor, OX2 9NS
21/22 Feb 2015 - Northampton SC, Pitsford, NN6 9DG
14/15 March 2015 - Burton SC, Derbyshire, DE65 6EG

The squad will initially be bolstered by demo boats made available by RS sailing. As new boats are delivered throughout the winter, these demo boats may become available to a waiting list.

Priority for places will be to Juniors sailing Aero5s. In its infancy, if places remain, we can open these weekends up to larger Juniors with the larger Aero rigs, parents of attending Aero/Tera sailors and other local adults - in that priority order.

Please keep an eye on the RS Aero website’s events section at; www.rsaerosailing.org/index.asp?p=events
as full details are formalised for each individual weekend.

To register your interest in attending any of the above dates or to join the waiting list to borrow the demo boats, please contact Peter Barton on [email protected]
