Dutch Open Championships - Bruinisse, Netherlands, 16/17 Sept
Thanks to RS Sailing NL for their summary; What a great weekend! Despite the weather forecasts with little wind, we were able to sail 8 races. 34 RS Aeros took part with 6 nations represented making for a wonderfully international event. The competitors settled to make two good fleets in RS Aero 7s and RS Aero 6s. Saturday evening we enjoyed mussels and burgers. Sunday ended the day with delicious fries!
Congratulations to the winners, and all the competitors for good racing. There were 5 nations represented in the six podium places over the two fleets!
In the RS Aero 7s Victor de Ripainsel (BEL) took the win from Ludovic Roblin (FRA) in 2nd and Marcus Walther (GER) in 3rd. First Dutch RS Aero 7 was Shivam Ramdas (NED) in 4th.
The RS Aero 6s saw two young sailors on the top of the podium with Jara Moorman (NED) taking the title from Noa Viool (NED) in 2nd and Maria-Luisa Coulson (AUS) in 3rd.

33 RS Aeros representing 6 countries () are now set to compete this weekend at the Dutch Open Championships in Bruinisse which is shaping up to be a fantastic international event.
The RS Aero fleet in the Netherlands and their neighbouring countries is steadily growing and they are calling out to all existing and new RS Aero sailors to join them on the beautiful waters of the Grevelingen.

The successful September RS Aero event at Bruinisse has grown in popularity over the past few years the Dutch are pleased to announce their RS Aero Open 2023, again in great cooperation alongside the Dutch RS500 Class and Dutch RS dealer Aquavitesse.
The RS Aero fleet in the Netherlands and their neighbouring countries is steadily growing and they are calling out to all existing and new RS Aero sailors to join them on the beautiful waters of the Grevelingen.
