The Fabbrica 2023 RS Aero North American Championships were held at Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, CT from October 5-8.  This was the final event of the RS Aero North Eastern Race Week that began on September 30th with CPYC's annual One Design Fontelieu Regatta.

The North Americans had a total of 41 registered entries with Class racing for all four RS Aero rig sizes. There were RS Aero racers from Ireland, Canada and all over the USA; most of the big RS Aero US fleets were well represented including; Seattle, California, Indiana, Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.

The conditions were epic. With the wind out of the ENE in the teens and gusts to 20+ knots competitors enjoyed classic New England Fall conditions with big, fast moving waves that had had many hours and half the length of Long Island Sound to build up.

The 2023 RS Aero North American Championships are coming to the north east - to Cedar Point YC!

CPYC always puts on a good regatta. The local fleet has seen huge growth and the winds should be solid in October.

Todd Ricardi is happy to announce that we have charter RS Aeros available for the 2023 RS Aero North Americans and CPYC Fontelieu Regatta with a plan to have 8-10 boats available;
Cedar Point Yacht Club - Fontelieu Regatta Boat available September 29 – October 1 - $675
RS Aero North American Championship - Cedar Point Yacht Club Boats available October 4-8 - $875
$1,500 for anyone who wants to use the boat for September 29-October 8
Note - 75% of charter fee applies to purchase of demo boat or brand new boat when within 2 days of the end of the event.
Rig options not guaranteed and will be discussed at time of booking charter.
