RS Aero UK Southern Champs - Warsash SC, Hampshire, 1/2 July
28 RS Aeros turned out to a blustery RS Aero UK Southern Champs at Warsash on the river Hamble to race on the central Solent. The winds gusted well into the mid 20s for the 3 races on Saturday. Sunday was a little more gentle with frequent wind shifts opening up racing opportunities.
Congratulations to the winners - Sam Blaker (Thorpe Bay) in the RS Aero 5s, Spike Daniels (Hayling) in the RS Aero 6s and Peter Barton (Lymington Town) in the RS Aero 7s.
Thanks to Warsash Sailing Club for hosting an excellent weekend’s racing and to Selden and Kingfisher Ropes for their support.

The RS Aero UK Southern Championship will be hosted by Warsash SC on 1/2 July.
With their challenging central Solent race course this weekend i set to be excellent racing and top practice for the upcoming championships this summer.

RS Aero UK Southern Championship - Warsash SC, Hampshire, 1/2nd July
The UK Southern Championship will be hosted by Warsash SC and their large RS Aero fleet.
Racing will be held on their Hill Head race area, on the central Solent to the east of the Hamble entrance, where they have held many Championships. This weekend has been selected for its neap low tides for best racing and to assist us to and from the race area.
For large events WSC hire the field behind the Club for dinghy and car parking.
