RS Aero : léger comme l’air?
Voile Magazine film Nico Honor having fun with the Aero 7 rig in Carnac, France in July.

Two good examples demonstrating the technique and advantages of gybing with a centre mainsheet.

- Grab all the purchases in your front hand as you enter the gybe.
- Pull the boom across purposefully when YOU choose, not when the wind chooses!
 - If necessary, keep hold the mainsheets as the sail fills on the new side and release in a controlled manner.  This avoids the 'whammy' in strong winds on run to run gybes and gives you something to balance against when exiting the gybe on a broad course. Here Nico keeps hold once and releases once.
- swap hands when stable

Crazy music! Turn up the volume and enjoy...
