I believe there is at least 1 post somewhere on another subject that mentions a Mk1 swap for a Mk 2.
 
My impression was that if anyone really couldn't get on with the Mk1 then RS would be happy to swap it .
 
Perhaps RS could confirm?

Wondered if there was any update on this as I have one of these and the more I use it I must say it is bit annoying. However, that aside the boat is great !

Hi, 
I have Aero #1179, with the early version of the trolley. The transom of my boat is too close to the road surface when I pick up the trolley handle and stand up straight. Is RS offering to modify these early models, and if so, what is the process?
