Last year, I stuck a brand new 9 sail in the West Mersea mud after getting it all wrong on a downwind rolling sea in the Bessom channel, and needed to find something to clean the sail afterwards. The internet seemed to recommend Starbrite Sail Kleen. I bought some but it didnt really do the job properly and have been on the lookout ever since for something that works. So cant recommend this product but good luck in your search as I too would still be interested

Hi! My Wife, . . , used Dettol's 750ml spray of “Mould & Mildew Remover“ . She worked wonders on a stained Laser sail, and she would be happy to try it on my Aero sail! (I appreciate that was a different material). But, neither that or other stuff she tried would shift a couple of tiny rust spots. She hastily continued, 'but start VERY cautiously, just a very tiny spot first! If after a few minutes, there's no detriment, . . then continue, but still cautiously!' Good luck Cliff

Hi, Just wondered what product people have found / favour for removing stains from an Aero sail? Unfortunately had to pack my boat away wet one day & then due to circumstances didn’t manage to get back to the boat for a while. Where the rolled sail was in contact with the boat cover, there’s now yellow-green stains 😔. Thanks for any help in how to return them to lovely bright white!!
