Mine is 4mm cord, taken to the kicker dyneema on the boom, and fixed with Inglefield clips. Seems to work fine in all wind strengths.

I've heard of a number of references by various Aero sailors.

I'd like to put one on in order to better adjust depth of 9 sail on the water in light wind; to find the optimum position.  May take it off afterwards, or if it's no advantage.

Is there a definitive way to rig the chord?

Shockchord diameter to use?

I guess it's led through the Clew cringle and then both strands led under the boom.

Do most stretch round the mast  or attach to one of the soft attach loops under the boom?

If round the mast is it best to secure the loose ends with Inglefield clips?

Would be good to know what's been done already before further experimentation.
