Hi Paul,
Sorry to hear that. Well done for getting out for Mengeham's Chichester Harbour Winkle Race.
Minimal sanding of any dangerous sharp edges on the gunwales would be OK and quite simple to do.

Hi Peter, 
Whilst sailing the Mengham Rythe Bank Holiday Winkle race on Monday (great fun handicap race) I capsized and cut my wrist on the edge of the boat as the gunwhales appear to be razor sharp, unlike any other boat I have sailed, it's actually quite dangerous. Is this normal and do Class Rules allow you to sand the edges slightly to remove the dangerous sharp edges?
