Thanks Aquanaught.  I apologise for not responding earlier; I did not see this post.

You cannot connect anything to the traveller line/rope.  You can attach rope/shockcord to one or both Traveller Bullseye/s (plastic D already screwed to the boat)

Hi,

I just wanted to confirm my interpretation/slight modification to rule 12 (t) is acceptable.

I find the normal way of securing the daggerboard with shock cord as supplied is  problematic. There is more than enough friction in the daggerboard slot to hold it in place and removing the daggerboard when under tension and approaching a congested landing area can lead to damage !

I have rigged a length of line attached to a traveller retainer. The line has no effect on the traveller tension or movement. I could put a small loop in the retainer and then attach the line to the loop which I would expect is an exact interpretation of the rules, but I believe my approach is a bit simpler.

The line is clipped to the daggerboard handle/loop and is just long enough to allow full daggerboard movement, but short enough to stay away from other control lines.

Advice/confirmation this is OK would be appreciated.
