Home >> General Discussion >> Daggerboard Fluff
Hi, I did mine recently.  The replacement fluff is self adhesive..  I used a hairdryer on a cooler setting to heat the old fluff and it's glue to pull it off.  Then some mentholated spirit to clean off any residue, rinsed with clean water and dried completely with the hairdryer and then stuck the new fluff on.  The self adhesive glue on it stays in place.  Make sure the boat is clean and dry before putting it on

What is the best way to remove worn daggerboard gasket fluff and what adhesive should be use in placing the new gasket fluff?
