DEEP SOUTH - CAPE HORN!
Many RS Aeros have been enjoying their southern winter sun in Florida this year, happy to be escaping the snow in New England and the icy rain in Old England. BUT that is not really south....
The most southern RS Aero in the Americas, and in fact the whole World, has just been delivered to Cape Horn at the very southern tip of Chile - the most southern of the world's famous capes. It is located at Puerto Williams Yacht Club, famous as the most southerly yacht club on the planet, situated on the Beagle Channel, just 50 miles north of the Cape itself!
This beats the previous most southerly on Bruny Island, Tasmania and is not likely to be beaten until there are RS Aeros in Antarctica!We look forward to photos and an exciting account of 'Cape Horn to Port'. Anybody up for an 'round the island race' next southern summer?
