Matt,
In the GGP results Peter Townend is down as racing a '9' off the '9' GL number of 1015. Did he have a '5' up? That would move him up...

Sailracer has issued their updated PYs following their analysis of the early stages of the SailJuice Winter Series as well as some returns.

The three numbers below are ...

PY; 2014-15 SailJuice; Latest released for 2015 Great Lakes events such as the Roadford Rocket

Aero 5  1105 , 1080 , 1122
Aero 7  1065 , 1040 , 1061
Aero 9  1025 , 1015 , 1031

The D-Zero is also 1031 in their latest suggesting early data suggests they are the same speed.

Food for thought.
Based on Sunday's Grafham GP, being overpowered is a slow way to go. As the wind speed increased Pete T in his Aero 5 rig got closer to me in my 7, Jamie was overpowered in his 9 rig.

PY RETURNS
RS Aero’s are already active at over 60 clubs in the UK!

PY race results data is coming in at an ever increasing rate and we are working hard chasing up enough data to help the RYA produce official RYA PY numbers for our 3 rigs by the end of February. We need your help;

- Please can everyone ensure that you always sign on/enter as 'RS Aero 9', 'RS Aero 7' or 'RS Aero 5', and arrange with your club/event scorer that this is also as the results sheets read, including previously completed series.
Without consistent Class naming and rig size identification valuable data will be wasted.

- Please can everyone also ensure that your clubs are returning data periodically (and importantly for us - by mid Feb this year).

My understanding is;
Normaly clubs submit in Nov giving RYA time before Feb.
Clubs are encouraged to submit periodically, rather than just annually.
Once you know which button to press it is as simple as...pressing a button!
As we are a new class the RYA will look at our last minute returns but the sooner the better, please.
