Felpham Sailing Club RS Aero Open

West Sussex, 9th June

The RS Aero open in the south this weekend was at Felpham Sailing Club, ‘the seaside mecca of the central south coast’. 20 RS Aeros arrived alongside the RS Teras to a decent breeze of around 6-11 knots and were greeted by the lovely team of members who were helping out at the club.....

Charter RS Aeros are available for the Felpham Coaching on Sunday 10th

Great news - the two Charter RS Aeros competing in the Open on the Saturday will also be available for Sunday's Coaching day with Chris Jones on 10th June.

The two Charter RS Aeros are available thanks to the support of RS Sailing. They are just £30 for for the day's coaching, including sails, delivery and insurance. A damage/security deposit is required (like car hire).

Request early to avoid disappointment! Please request these through Peter Barton.

Online Registration for both the Open and Coaching are open.

The OPEN MEETING on Saturday 9th of June is getting some good entries with seven now from the home fleet. Come and join them on their splendid open water!

Entry has now opened for the COACHING on Sunday 10th June that Chris Jones will run with a focus on wave technique upwind and down. £25 FSC members and £35 visitors. Enter online but pay on the day.

This south coast weekend will be a great fun way to build up sea sailing practice to prepare for the upcoming World Champs with so much of our off season training on flat water.

A splendid opportunity to have some good open sea practice before the World Champs in August on Felpham SC's fantastic stretch of water!

Just £15 will buy you not only three RS Aero races on the sea but Feplham SC's legendary afternoon seaside tea and cake at the end of the day is included! Featherweight RS Aeros and our rigid wheels are easily wheeled through the shingle and lauching will be at near low tide off the sand - perfect at Felpham in case there is any sea way running. All this and over 300 RS Aeros within about 1 hour's drive - Isn't dinghy racing great!!! *Sign up now*

TRAINING DAY on the Sunday - £25 members, £30 visitors

Following Saturday's Open meeting a training day is planned on the Sunday. Make a weekend of it in this lovely seaside location.
