RS Aero Open at Covenham SC - Lincolnshire, Sat 14th April

COVENHAM RS AERO OPEN - Lincolnshire, 14th April

Great to see 12 RS Aeros out for the first event of the RS Aero UK Northern Circuit at Covenham SC in NE Lincolnshire.

Together with Burghfield that is a whopping 46 over two simultaneous North/South events!

Just enough wind saw a challenging day's racing with 4 races and Andrew Molyneux of Huddersfield SC coming out on top.

Thanks to Covenham SC for hosting and to Richard Butler for organising and writing the report.

Next up for the RS Aeros in the North and Midlands is the RS Sprints at Rutland this Saturday 21st of April followed by joining the large home fleet at Yorkshire Dales on Sunday 6th May. For full details of all UK events see the UK Events List.

Covenham Sailing Club

Saturday 14th April

The RS Aero Class visits Covenham SC in Lincolnshire for the first time for Round 1 of the 14 event 2018 RS Aero Northern Circuit.

Surrounded by flat countryside and with a raised reservoir good winds are usually likely.

Format - three races back to back starting at 11.30, break for lunch around 1.30 and then another three back to back after lunch. This will we a fantastic warm up event for the season!
RS Aero sailors are welcome to join in with club racing on Sunday afternoon too.
Entry fee - will be £10 which covers lunch and as much tea and coffee as you can consume!
