My boat has the pre-fitted deck ring but I keep getting gel coat flaking off around the edges of the pot. I'm pretty sure that it's just caused by a void between the laminate and the gel. BUT: how do I fix it?
What I would like to do is to pull out the existing mast pot , properly fix the gel coat then put in a new pot. The problem is that the mast pot won't move (it might with extreme force). Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the old pot out?
