RS AERO UK CLASS TRAINING - Open/Adults
Get set for the new season!
The Youth Winter Training Programme continues to go from strength to strength with thirty under 21 year olds in the Rooster RS Aero UK Youth Team taking part in the six Winter Training weekends at some of the country's top venues. Our young sailors are increasingly at the front at our racing events, a testament to the success of the programme, their enjoyment and dedication. With the the programme evolving this winter to be more Youth focused we have sought to address the need for more adult/open coaching too. Two of the Youth Winter Training weekends, Rutland and Weymouth, are open to a limited number of extras including adults with an additional coach to facilitate.
The WEYMOUTH - WPNSA, 9/10th March weekend remains.
Additionally, there are two Club Coaching days scheduled in the spring at;
CHELMARSH SC - Midlands, Sat 23rd March
and for those in the Cotswolds and southwest;
BOWMOOR SC - nr Swindon, Sat 23rd March
These two days open are for both local members and visitors who can benefit from the expertise of an experienced RS Aero coach at a club with an established RS Aero fleet.
RS Aero training all started with the fast forming fleets at Chelmarsh & Bowmoor back in the autumn of 2014 at the first Lift-Off initiation days!
*The weekend of the 23/24th March is a busy one for the UK Class with sailors in the southeast also having the Broadwater SC Open on Sat 23rd and in the southwest there is also Wimbleball SC's Exmoor Beastie on Sunday 24th.
