Hungerburg Regatt / RS Fest - Narva-Joesuu Jahtklubi, Estonia, 14/15 June
Five RS Aero 5s competed in the Hungerburg Regatta in Narva Joesuu on Estonia's eastern border. New RS Aeros are now based there and are shared between local young sailors to help build the RS Aero fleet in the region. The RS Aeros raced alongside the large fleet of 20 RS Teras competing at the regatta, which promises well for the future growth of the RS Aero Class there.
Over 40 young sailors competed from seven Estonian clubs. The conditions were great, with pure blue skies and good breezes. Five races were held over two days - four of them under difficult conditions on the first day.
Congratulations to Ants Haavel (Hara SS) on taking the win, from new local RS Aero sailor Alina Baranova (Narva Joesuu JK) in 2nd and Georg Kasin (Saaremaa SA) in 3rd.
The achievements of the Narva-Joesuu Yacht Club's young sailors are the result of cooperation of all parties - including the cooperation of children, coaches, parents, the city government and their main partners
Mariine Auto and
RS Sailors Estonia, all working together to create an opportunity for young people in Narva-Joesuu to sail!
"We always do our best to make our guests feel good here." said Narva-Joesuu Jahtklubi commodore Anatoli Ivanov.Next for the Estonian RS Aeros is the
