RS Aero UK Karaoke Champs - Felpham, UK - Saturday 25th May

Saturday evening at the RS Aero 6 & 9 UK Nationals at Felpham SC saw the RS Aero 10th Anniversary Karaoke Championship. A wide range of talent was in part masked by an abundance of enthusiasm - but you can only kid the judges so far! 

Mark Ripley and Ben Flower sang 'Tequilla' which involved more acting than singing having just three words. To be fair though, they were the only performers to get their words 100% correct. Whilst it did entertain it was, however, still the top contender for the 'Below Average' victory. Rory Cohen gave a spirited performance and to his credit won 'Poor Performance'. His nearest challengers for that title were 'poorer'!

Semi-pro performing artist, Richard Watsham, had to step down from the Judging Panel for his rendition and smashed in a solid 3rd placed tune. Mike Luke, doing stunts for wife Penny, was the top local rock star taking 2nd for Felpham SC and the international panel awarded the overall win and title of first ever RS Aero UK Karaoke Champion to the sweet voice of Abigail Larr!
