Liros Nordic Race GP1 - Stenungsunds Segelsallskap (StSS), Sweden, 20/21 April20 RS Aeros turned out for the first event of the season in Sweden, the Liros Nordic Race at Stenungsunds SS alongside several other classes.
Current RS Aero 5 Youth World Champion Elliot Hellstrom dominated the RS Aero 5 fleet with a clean sweep of 1sts from Theo and Hennes Eriksson in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Best female was Ella Meline Borgenstierna in 6th.
In the RS Aero 7s visiting Norwegian, Magne Klann, also domianted with straight 1sts. Carl Furhoff took 2nd and Tobias Thelfer in 3rd.
Gunnar Larsson won the RS Aero 6s and Martin Malmstrom won the RS Aero 9s. In fact all 4 RS Aero Classes were won with all 1sts - that is probably a new record!
Next for the Swedish RS Aeros is the Linkoping GP2 at Linkopings JS on 27/28th May as they build up to host the RS Aero Youth World Championship at Marstrand in August
