International RS Aero Pre-Season Training - CV Arco, Lake Garda, Italy, 9-12 April

Right after the Lago di Garda International RS Aero regatta at CV Arco 12 sailors from Australia, Ireland, USA and Germany met to further work on their sailing skills with coaches Ausra and Arkadii. Lake Garda rewarded us with fantastic conditions and we started the water program after a day off following the regatta. In addition to the time on the water, there was also plenty of opportunities for video evaluations and a deeper insight into various physical principles of sailing.

The absolute highlight for most was the downwind session from Torbole to Castelletto 25km further south. Luca, Robert Scheidt's former coach and restaurant owner right at the harbour, was very happy about the RS Aeros' visit and treated us to some Italian specialties. In the afternoon we went back with the Ora on another downwind.

After four great days, the training ended. In addition to new friendships, plans have already been made for the training again in 2025.
