Youth Primus Inter Pares - Dutch Youth Champion of Champions, GWV De Vrijbuiter, Netherlands, 7/8 Oct

The Dutch Youth Sailing 'Champions of Champions' event was again held in RS Aero 5s this year at GWV De Vrijbuiter, Loosdrecht,  alongside the adult event which is competed for in the 16m2 class.

The enthusiasm of the young sailors for the RS Aero was fantastic to behold. The experienced young sailors in their robust RS Aero 5s even managed to start racing in the morning whilst the adults were held ashore due to the strong wind!

This was the 3rd ever Youth PIP in the Netherlands and 7 Youth champions participated. Alexander Hartsink won convincingly with 6  wins from the 10 races.
