RS Aero Sardinian Zonal Champs #1 - Poetto, Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, 26th March
The first round of the RS Aero Zonal Championship organized by the LNI section in Cagliari took place on Sunday 26 March in the waters in front of Cagliari's main beach, il Poetto.
A splendid spring day greeted the Sardinian fleet of RS Aero 5s, as the athletes who usually race in RS Aero 7 were not present.
The weak wind mainly from the south characterized the day, creating an alternation of performances among the participants which saw Francesca Ramazzotti (ASD Veliamoci) 1st prevail at the end of the 4 races on Ludovica Cui (LNI Sulcis) 2nd by a few points. On the 3rd step of the podium was Sara Murru (LNI Sulcis).
Chiara Sussarello (LNI Sulcis) was awarded as first Junior.
Excellent work of the Regatta Committee masterfully chaired by Tanni Spanedda and composed by Dado Cavallo and Francesco Pellegrino.

Si è svolta domenica 26 marzo la prima prova del campionato zonale RS Aero organizzata dalla LNI sezione Cagliari nelle acque antistanti il Poetto.
Una splendida giornata primaverile ha salutato la flotta sarda degli RS aero categoria Aero 5 in quanto non erano presenti gli atleti che solitamente regatano in Aero 7.
Il vento debole con prevalenza da sud ha caratterizzato la giornata, creando un alternarsi di prestazioni tra i partecipanti che ha visto prevalere alla fine delle 4 prove disputate Francesca Ramazzotti (asd Veliamoci) su Ludovica Cui (LNI Sulcis) seconda a pochi punti. Terzo gradino del podio per Sara Murru (LNI Sulcis).
Premiata come prima giovanile Chiara Sussarello (LNI Sulcis)
Ottimo lavoro del Comitato di regata magistralmente presieduto dall’inossidabile Tanni Spanedda, composto da Dado Cavallo e Francesco Pellegrino.
