Totally Dinghy Regatta - Richmond YC, San Francisco Bay, California, USA, Sept 17/18Thanks to Greg Warner for his summary;
8 RS Aeros raced at the Totally Dinghy regatta at Richmond Yacht Club on San Francisco Bay over the weekend and with increasing winds forecast, the PRO was eager to get everyone away on time.
There was fantastic close racing on the Saturday with the RS Aero 9s racing on the outer course and the RS Aero 7s on the inner more protected course. The predicted breeze came in on time for the 3rd race of the day.
The RS Aero 7s raced in 10-13 knots for most of the day building to 20 knots for the last race and experienced those fantastic reaches that the RS Aero is known for. The RS Aero 9s had close racing with several finishes coming down to inches with Mike Sealey coming out with a series win.
