The annual Starcross Steamer took place on the 27th of March on the Exe estuary with Starcross Yacht Club celebrating its 250th year. Blue skies and a nice medium breeze of 11-15kn blowing from SE-S up the estuary created some very summery conditions for the first day of British Summer Time. The Steamer comprises of a classic pursuit race format, the slowest boat being chased down by the faster boats.
