Sutton Bingham Icicle Pursuit - Yeovil, Somerset, UK, 30th JanEight RS Aeros entered Sutton Bingham's Icicle making up a quarter of the overall mixed class fleet. This was the second event able to be held in the 2021/22 Southwest Sailing Winter Series, after two events were canceled due to gales in the autumn.
After a postponment whilst the wind filled sailors were rewarded with a good force 3. In reduced length race the slowest boat started at 1pm with the rest of the fleet ready to set off in pursuit on their alloted class start numbers.
Congratulations to local RS Aero 7 sailor Hamish Walker on taking 2nd place, within an OK sandwich on the podium between Terry Curtis in 1st and Sam Thomson in 3rd!
