Australia Day Regatta - McCrae YC, VIC, Australia, 22/24th Jan

10 RS Aeros took to the water for a fun but testing Australia Day Regatta at McCrae YC racing on time correction between the RS Aero 7s and RS Aero 9s.

Day 1 - No wind and then rewarded for the wait with a good breeze for two great races with a few thrills and spills!
Day 2 - Hot, light breeze and beautiful sunshine! After a relaxing wait ashore and then two abandoned attempts at a race a short Race 3 was possible in the late afternoon.
Day 3 - A launch and short sail around but no persistent breeze for racing.

Congratulations to Luke Thompson (Sandringham YC) on taking the win from Paul Rogers (Blairgowrie YS) and Pete Elllis (McCrae YC). Simon Wilkins (Westernport YC) took the last race to place top RS Aero 9 on a tie with Ron Fergusson (Albert SC).

Next up for the RS Aeros in Victioria is the Indented Head YC RS Aero Day at Geelong on 19th Feb and then Sail Sandy at Sandringham YC on 26/27th Feb.
