Thanks to Simon Wilkins for his summary - our 007 in Australia!
Nine RS Aeros and seven OKs raced together for a fantastic day's sailing on Sunday at Black Rock Yacht Club. Unfortunately, Saturday was blown out due to the wind but Sunday was such a contrast with 10-15 knots and sun! Three cracking races were held with tight races between the combined fleet of RS Aeros and OKs with results based on ratings and corrected times.
Congratulations to Simon Wilkins who was first RS Aero and third overall in the mixed class Division.
This was the first event of the 2021-22 VIC RS Aero Traveller's series. Current leaders are Sam Bassham (Portland YC) in the RS Aero 7s and Simon Wilkins (Western Port YC) in the RS Aero 9s.
