Dutch Youth Training Clinic - GWV de Vrijbuiter, Loosdrecht, Netherlands, 18-20 Oct
The Dutch RS Aero Youth Training kicked off at Loosdrecht with 3 days on the water with three keen young sailors getting an introduction to the RS Aero 5. They had everything from 5 to 32 knots of wind thrown at them. ‘Bikkels*’ as they say in Dutch!
The week is a school mid term break in both the Netherlands and Germany and sees RS Aero Youth training camps taking place in both countries growing Youth participation and working towards the first RS Aero Youth World Championship in Weymouth UK in 2022 during the four yearly RS Games.
*Bikkel is a fun Dutch word used to describe a person with a lot of perseverance and not afraid of hard work during testing times.
