Write-Up
The Tiger Trophy took place over August Bank Holiday after being postoponed from its normal February weekend.
Fifty mixed Class boats took part including six RS Aeros with all three rigs represented.
The overall win this year went to the Fireball sailed by David Hall and Paul Constable.
Top RS Aero was UK Class Chairman Richard Watsham in 16th in his RS Aero 9, peaking with with a spirited 7th in the first race. Ellie Craig led the RS Aeros 7s in 20th overall, taking the overall Ladies prize.
The Tiger Trophy was the final event of the 2020-21 Selden Sailjuice Winter Series which this year was extended into the summer. It was also the first event of the 4 event RS Aero 9 Super Series, with Richard Watsham laying down an early lead, and the third event of the RS Aero 2021 Midlands Mini Series, interim results to follow.
