Restrictions eased in the England on 29 March allowing many sailors who were unable to access their clubs, slipways and waterways to finally get afloat. Since then there has been a surge of local RS Aero activity at clubs. A period of chilly but sunny gentle northerly & easterly breezes has provided some wonderful sailing and racing as sailors are able to re-familiarise in some ideal conditions and prepare for the new season ahead. The UK racing calendar finally kicks off this weekend at Island Barn RSC for the RS Aero UK Spring Championship on 24th April with entries now nearing the imposed limit of 50. Next up is the RS Aero UK South Western Champs on 8/9th May at Paignton, before the Lymington Town SC open on the 15th May.

 

An exciting variety of events promises a busy and fun season ahead with something for everyone.
