Back on the Water Regatta - Indian River YC, Florida, USA, 27th June
RS Aeros and Lasers share an event from Kelly Park, Merritt Island, restarting their racing in Florida
Thanks to Bob Patterson and Greg Popp for their summary report;
This was the first regatta since early March but we have been practice sailing frequently as a socially distant activity. This event combining RS Aeros and Lasers was a first here in Florida and future similar events are planned. Dave Chapin is a champion Laser sailor and sailed our RS Aero Jensen regatta three years ago giving Marc Jacobi a run for the money! Saturday was torrid hot and humid with very light airs but we got five tight races in and had fun!
