Brass Monkey (Sailjuice) - Yorkshire Dales SC, UK, 27th Dec
Congratulations to Keith Escritt and Ollie Kent both of Yorkshire Dales SC in coming 12th and 13th respectively in Yorkshire Dales SC's Brass Monkey in their RS Aero 7s from 97 entries.
We had four boats in the top 1/3 of the fleet with Tom Penty beating Charlie Warhurst by just 1 second to be the third counting RS Aero 7. Conditions didn't suit Karl Morley, but even so, he finished just in front of an ex Fireball Champion as well as a previous SailJuice series winner so not a bad effort from the five RS Aero 7s we had out. Unfortunately, the RS Aero 5s struggled in the light winds and lack of clear air - next time guys.
