Youth Primus Inter Pares - GWV De Vrijbuiter, Loosdrecht, Holland, 5/6 Okt

For the first time in the history of this prestigious Primus Inter Pares, the race for the Dutch 'Champion of Champions', there was a youth edition in the RS Aero. All winners of the Dutch Championships in Youth Classes were be invited to compete in the fleet of RS Aero 5s which were provided, for the coveted Dutch Youth title.

DAY 1
SE 6-10 knots. Light winds and shifty. Went very well with smiles all round. Racing got closer as the day progressed. Tomorrow is looking fun with 10-20 knots expected.

DAY 2
Another great day at the Dutch Youth Primus Inter Pares (champion of champions) with further 4 races completed totalling 10 in one weekend. The weather was wet, cold and a little bit windy in race 10, but that did not stop the smiles coming!

Congratulations to Luuk de Wijn for taking the prestigious title. Luuk de Wijn was third at the RS Feva Europeans this year. Well sailed to all the top youth sailors from the Netherlands who battled out 10 races making for very close racing.
