RS Aeros at Hallwil Jollenweekend - SC Hallwil, Beinwil am See, Switzerland, 28/29 September
Brilliant races at Hallwil in Switzerland with lovely sunshine and more like summer than the autumn!
There are lots of RS Aeros spread across Switzerland and the Lago Maggiore International RS Aero Regatta has been their prime focus over the past two seasons. With such beautiful lakes there it is great to see the Swiss fleet starting to join up for some events!
They had a good breeze of 10-15 knots and gusts of up to 20 knts! A very shifty wind, with change of wind direction up to 90 degrees provided for a testing weekend!
Of all the dinghies at the Hallwil Dinghy Weekend the RS Aeros mixed well and held their own scored using the Swiss PYs. Andreas Gerster came out as top RS Aero and in 2nd overall, just behind the lead 505.
