Viridian Firecracker Regatta - Arlington, Dallas, TX, USA, 29/30 June
Light winds and hot Texan temperatures saw a reduced schedule of 3 races at the Viridian Firecracker Regatta, mixed with the occasional refreshing dip to keep cool!
The 20 RS Aeros were spread over the 3 RS Aero Classes. Congratulations to the winners;
1st RS Aero 5 - Max Nilsson (Fort Worth),
1st RS Aero 7 - Griffin Orr (Corinthian SC)
1st RS Aero 9 - Andrew Vandling (Rush Creek YC)
With 30 RS Aero's on the dock at the Viridian Sailing Center now, this event and venue are established as fantastic RS Aero base. Viridian provides a key focal point for the Texas RS Aeros and visitors keen to travel to join in and charter.
